This is the EDMF implementation from JPL for WRF (compiled with version 4.0.3). This version of the code was specifcally designed for Stratocumulus clouds.
To turn on updraft: bl_mynn_edmf = 3
To turn on downdraft: bl_mynn_edmf_dd = 1
