Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

I want to use elyra to organize my local project , and deploy a single file in different enviroments.

Describe the solution you'd like

  1. I am build some workflow node , which accept environment variable as parameters
  2. each node may refresh some environment variable, to make child node have new input
  3. use one command to package all notebook files into xxx.pipeline file
  4. use command elyra run xxx.pipeline with some parameters, can run the workflow .

This seems to similar to what was requested in #2842

@ptitzler Yeah , it's similar . So is there any plan to support this ? This is very useful to make a good scientist to be good engineer .
