I was struggling with why I didn't have a .pc via homebrew. I submitted a patch there Homebrew/homebrew-core#56947 If I am right this PR is not included in a release yet. May I ask if there is a known time for that to happen? |

I wanted to get this to work with pkg-config because it makes it convenient to add
libfswatchas a dependency to other automake based projects viaPKG_CHECK_MODULES.Since it works for my purposes now, I decided to make this PR in case you're interested in integrating this upstream ^^
