why use this over adhearsion

First of all, I should admit I didn't know Adhearsion before, but taking a close look to it it looks like a very good project, very complete and professional.

Anyway, the reason why I would use ruby-asterisk instead of Adhearsion is that ruby-asterisk is much simpler and light-weight, without all the telephony-aware controller logic (cool indeed!) supported by Adhearsion.

Still, it is a matter of taste!

Oh, one more thing: ruby-asterisk is completely open source and community driver - and it will always be!
