Foundational knowledge of the computing platform we use, Google Cloud Platform, together with spreadsheets, SQL, data APIs, and machine learning APIs.
Each student will:
- Learn foundational knowledge of computing concepts and cloud computing, and become comfortable employing this knowledge in data science tasks using, spreadsheets, SQL, API’s, and visualization tools.
- Creatively implement what they have been learning in homeworks which use cloud computing tools to visualize and analyze big data. Specifically, public datasets hosted on the cloud.
