GreptimeDB is a new open-source, cloud-native, distributed time-series database. I am one of the creators of the project.
EMQX is so popular in the MQTT brokers and supports many data bridges right now 👍, such as InfluxDB, MongoDB and IoTDB etc.
I want to create a new bridge for GreptimeDB and contribute it to the EMQX project. Appreciate it if the community accepts it.
Thank you.
Why is this needed?
GreptimeDB users are using EMQX as their MQTT brokers, even though they can use InfluxDB or MySQL bridges because GreptimeDB is compatible with those protocols, but it's not best for performance and scalability.
So we want to support it natively with the high-performance gRPC protocols. We will keep maintaining this bridge.
