We still need to verify that implementations support a variable-sized field.

hostap https://w1.fi/cgit/hostap/tree/src/eap_common/eap_teap_common.h defines EAP_TEAP_COMPOUND_MAC_LEN 20

We may want to revert emu-wg/rfc7170bis@9e0a8b8, and state that the fields are fixed size, and that the compound MACs are truncated to 20 octets?
