Summary:	crash for boundary layer on parallel surfaces
Description:	The program crashes under the following condition:   - a boundary layer is created on one surface   - this surface is next to a surface without boundary layer   - both surfaces are parallel At least a decent error information should be given instead of a crash. In future versions it would be nice if this could be handled flawlessly.

I'll need to re-test this to check whether this still happens or not... in the meantime, I've moved this to the GIT.master milestone.
