Simple Discord Bot

A simple modular lightweight Discord Bot which can be scaled if needed.

Deployment

To deploy this project

Create a newfile named .env and add config variables from .envtemplate file.

Install yarn

  npm install yarn

Then run yarn start script

  yarn start

Deploy to Heroku

To Deploy this project to Heroku

1. Fork this repository.
2. Create a new app with unique appname.
3. Go to deploy section and connect your Github repository.
4. Go to settings > secrets,  add config vars - APPLICATION_ID , GUILD_ID, and TOKEN.
5. Enable automatic deploys and click on deploy button.

Run Locally

Clone the project

  git clone https://github.com/enpvivek/discordbot

Go to the project directory

  cd discordbot

Install yarn

  npm install yarn

Build and Start the server

  yarn start

Usage/Examples

You can add more commands in this bot by creating new command file in /src/slash-commands/yourcommandname.ts
