Graphics benchmark to compare performance of various 2d Drawing API.


OSX build instructions

1) Install git if not available
http://git-scm.com/

2) git clone https://github.com/enthought/GraphicsBench.git

3) Command line tools for Xcode
http://kennethreitz.com/xcode-gcc-and-homebrew.html

4) Install Homebrew
http://mxcl.github.com/homebrew/

5) Install cairo if not available
brew install cairo

6) Install agg if not available

Agg does not compile with clang and homebrew uses clang with no apparent way to override the compiler. So we need to install agg ourselves.

cd agg-2.5/
make
cp src/libagg.a /usr/local/lib/
cp -r include /usr/local/

# We need to generate the pkg-config file

sh autogen.sh
cp libagg.pc /usr/local/lib/pkgconfig/


7) Install qt
brew install qt
