Remaining todo's:

  • Review and add in Austria data if appropriate (asking contributor if they would like to be a package author)
  • Clean up data-raw folder - is anything/everything being used here?
  • Run devtools::release() and do everything it suggests:
    • spelling::check_spelling (+ add to package and update wordlist (see EpiNow2))
    • devtools::check_rhub()
    • devtools::check_win_hub()
    • usethis::use_cran_comment() (and update with any notes etc).
  • Check everything is passing on GitHub Actions
  • Hit release button
  • Respond to CRAN emails

Once on CRAN:

  • Add new GitHub release (0.5.0)
  • Add issue to covid19r outlining package exists
  • Get someone to tweet about it and get CMMID twitter to retweet
  • Add to Rweekly
  • Add scoping issue for JOSS release (pinging all package authors in this thread)
  • Open meta-issue for new data sets.
