3D view of 3D grid

Main focus are 3D grid of the types that most dynamic simulators can use. First priority are corner point grids with straight pillars.

As a user I like the following features of a 3D viewer.

MS1: 3D view of 3D grid

  • Full grid, Optional grid lines, chosen grid parameter (discrete and continuous) with selected colors with transparency
  • Filter grid on 1 (one) grid parameter (zone, region, or other parameters)
  • Filter on grid layer, row, column (nice with list of layers 1-3, 7,9, or slider)

MS2: 3D view, 3D grid

  • Add timesteps and time slider to grid paramters (Should this be in MS1?)
  • Add grid fault lines as optional on off

MS3: 3D View with sections of 3D grid

  • arbitrary line section
  • Well trajectory defined section (with trajectory displayed)
  • X,Y, Z planes intersection

MS4: 3D view Additional data on sections

  • Horizons
  • Faults
  • one well log
  • well picks
  • Zone from structural model with zone colors.

MS5: 3D view of 3D grid

  • Grid fault transmissibility (Ref ResInsight)
  • Value filter on multiple grid parameters (Ref RMS)

MS6: 3D view, 3D grid

  • Grid perforation (data from perforation view, linked to perforation view
  • Blocked cells

MS7: 3D view of 3D grid

  • 3D parameter cut by 2D depth map )

MS8: 3D view of 3D grid

  • Isosurfaces from 3D grid parameter

MS9: 3D view of 3D grid parameter

  • Volume rendering (Maybe not possible ??)

MS10 Pop up window on click on 3D grid

  • time versus property

3D view of 3D seismic

  • inline cross line
  • arbitrary line (section)
  • Well section

3D view other data

  • Wellhead, trajectory, logs, wellpicks
  • Maps (depth with attribute map)

Discussion: Realization handling, suggest to handle each realization as a separate grid both structure and grid parameters Discussion: Model validation of pressure from RFT pressure data
