Enroll to be a Champion

1. Register for a junk gmail address to use for scanning.
2. Register an email address for your city. See here for instructions.
3. Clone this repo onto a server of some sort (EC2, Digital Ocean, your laptop, etc.). If using Digital Ocean, you can sign up under this link and receive $10 in free credits. This is good for 2 months if running on the $5 plan. We've only tested on Ubuntu so far, although there shouldn't be much configuration for Mac OS or Windows to work as well.
4. Run . setup_prod.sh in the project directory, then ./run.sh.
5. Test your server is up and running by sending your location to your pnu email address (see this page if you're unsure how), and wait for a response (it usually takes no longer than a minute). If there is a response, send a few common Pokémon near you to see that you get notified. This may take a while if those Pokémon do not appear very often.
6. Once it is confirmed that the service is running, let us know by copy pasting this form below and sending it to pokemonnearyou+champs@gmail.com. Your latitude and longitude can be found using https://google.com/maps and clicking near your location.

7. Text your pnu email with the actual list of Pokémon you are interested in, and reap the benefits of your hard work!
