I'm a new proxy maintainer of errbot in Gentoo. So I hope you can add the gentoo support in docs. Now in gentoo supports 6.1.7 and 6.1.8. Thanks!

Nice to see Gentoo include errbot as a native ebuild in the portage tree. Will you also be providing ebuilds to include popular backends with errbot? SlackV3, Discord and Mattermost for example

I'm not so sure because some of the backend add-ons haven't been updated in years. It is not wise to commit packages into the portage tree without future maintenance. But I can submit them to my own overlay firstly after I test if they work well.

Fair enough, this might be part of the reason why errbot doesn't have official packages for most Linux distributions. In any case, good luck with the integration.
