⛏Terminal based mining game for fun

How to install

Prerequisites:

• python 3.8 or higher
• MacOS, Windows, or Linux
• Probably admin access

Step 1

Download the code from github.com or clone the repo to your computer(on github.com you can press the green code button and download to zip)

Step 2

Unzip the folder and open in terminal(or command prompt if on windows)

Step 3

Install venv for python by running python3 -m pip install venv

Step 4

Create a virtual environment by running python3 -m venv .venv. Then, activate it by running(MacOS and Linux) source .venv/bin/activate, or if you are using windows .venv\bin\activate

Step 5

Once the virtual environment is activated, run pip install -r requirements.txt

Step 6

After that step, to simply run the application, do(MacOS and Linux) python3 main.py, or if you are using windows python main.py
