Due to using an ESP01S with 1MB of flash trying to use this OTA sample which appears to upload a bin that is ota.app1.bin plus ota.app2.bin to update the ota_1 partition slot. I wish to leave ota.app1.bin in the ota_0 slot, and upload a new another app image I've built into ota_1. I can't figure out how to build the bin file to be uploaded to ota_1. I've tried merging ota.app1.bin with newapp.bin but the magic byte check is off.
