Following instructions:
http://esp-idf.readthedocs.io/en/latest/macos-setup.html#alternative-step-1-compile-the-toolchain-from-source-using-crosstool-ng

cd ~/esp
ln -s /Volumes/ctng crosstool-NG

git clone -b xtensa-1.22.x https://github.com/espressif/crosstool-NG.git
fatal: destination path 'crosstool-NG' already exists and is not an empty directory.

The crosstool-NG symlink was just created above.

I get the same error on MacOS 10.13.6
@jersey99: What was your workaround?

send() can return a value > 0 but less than size indicating it was able to accept some of the data in buffer. The caller must try again after updating the buffer pointer and size remaining.
