It'd be great if there was a way to create multiple separate sub-libraries
within a single install of Shelves. For example, allowing separation of
fiction and non-fiction collections.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Ideally, you'd be able to switch collection via the settings menu, or
better still, open the app to a list of collections. Select a collection
to view books within it.
Search should be able to search in all collections or just the current
collection.
It should be possible to move a book to a different collection. It might
be useful to be able to mark a book as belonging to multiple collections.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Nexus One, android 2.1, Latest version as at 12 Apr. '10

Please provide any additional information below.
In my library I have separated collections for Fiction, Non-Fiction,
Roleplaying Games, CDs, DVDs and Magazines. You can see why I'd like to
separate them.
