Update 9 Dec 2023: minor bugfix update 0.4a, now based on 9 Dec 2023 upstream repository.

This is a massive update, which took quite some time. Main changes are:

  • A set of 60 game-specific presets that are based on koko-aio upstream dated 9 December 2023, thus bleeding edge and working brilliantly.
  • New standard preset is the Monitor-Ambilight-Immersive ng-preset, as it provides a superior experience with the dedicated artwork; this move to the ng presets was substantial
  • Changed folder structure to match with koko-aio upstream, updates are easier.
  • Artwork beautified and ai-upscaled to 4k (at least close to 4k in some instances)
  • 3 new artworks: Amidar, Crush Roller and Wonder Boy in Monster Land
  • providing configuration files for FinalBurnNeo (best experience), MAME current, MAME2003 and MAME2003plus
  • Laying Release 0.2 to rest, while 0.3 with old presets should stay
  • Tested under MacOS and iOS, while Windows is still to be tested (shouldn't be a problem, though)
