At some point,
ForkchoiceUpdatedV2stopped working forPayloadAttributesV1while paris was active. This was causing a few failures in hive: https://hivetests2.ethdevops.io/suite.html?suiteid=1706266201-57f1c042be25eab3f1893cb5718fc756.json&suitename=engine-withdrawalsAdditionally, I added a gate in
ForkchoiceUpdatedV1to disallowPayloadAttributesV3.Neither of these cases should really be encountered at this point, but I think it is good to correctly follow the spec while we have the code and especially if there are active hive tests failing.
