Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Bad instruction]

Hello community,

I have a question. I got the following message (see below) when I wired Ethereum to a certain crowdfunding project. The ethereum has been wired from my account (see also below) but in the etherscan it says that the wiring was cancelled due to bad instructions which is impossible because I did everything by the book. Can anyone please help me with this? Thank you very much!

Hi @Migson51, many transactions to the same crowdfunding project didn't went through, due to the huge amount of people trying to buy it at the same time.

Hi @evertonfraga , I know that more people have the same problem. What can I do about it. I payed a lot of ethers in transfer fees. I did exactly as they asked on the website within the time frame. They cost me money and I get nothing in return. I really want a solution for this.

I haven't yet. I have been emailing status to see if they have someway to resolve this issue. They are ignoring me claiming the ether should be in my account.

Tried to change BTC (Jaxx) to OMG (Exodus) using shapeshift and now I have the same error.

I have, they say that when the contract doesn’t execute the ether should not have left the account. I showed them on etherscan that it was gone. You can see by totaling the balance. Now they just aren’t responding.

got a reply on my issue and they say that they had some system problems and that the will transfere my coins manually asap. So far nothing here...

THe coin should never leave the wallet but in the total states the coin left.

Hi Guys,

I need some assistance. I'm pretty new to the ICO game, so I made a rookie error and made the payment from an exchange. The funds have left my account however when I review ether transactions i see the error "Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Bad instruction] ".

Any idea how I can get my funds back?

Guys, I have used metamask wallet when I transferred it. So It holds the address. And when the transaction failed it came back to my address. If you have transferred from Exchange, it is pretty difficult to get as Exchange would send from his Account pool. I feel sorry guys. Worst option try contact the exchange

as my problem occured when using shapeshift, I opened a ticket at shapeshift and they processed it. So they finally corrected everthing. How to do so on ICO things, I don't know what to do
