I'd like to give an update about EIP-1559. Specifically about the following points:

• Removing block size and transaction size riders from EIP 1559. The plan is to create a separate EIP for this.
• Non-PoW networks: Is EIP-1559 valuable ? If yes, what are the impacts on the implementation.
• Simulations vs. new testnets
• The Escalator vs. EIP-1559 status
