Damage Application Change (No More Empty Targets Tray)


Changes

  • Changed how the damage application element is used; now, unless the default damage tray is used, non-gm users will always see the module-provided damage application element. This is so, when the 'Damage Target' setting is disabled, the damage tray will not include an empty 'targeted' mode damage application element if the user does not own any targeted tokens (it will still appear if any owned tokens were targeted at the time of the damage roll).

Because this change involves using the module's class instead of the system's, there may be issues that did not shake out during my testing. As always, please post in Issues or contact me on discord if you encounter such problems.

  • A few more comments (still incomplete).
  • A little code cleanup.
  • Development on the 3.2 version (1.2) has begun. So far it hasn't broken. The settings to expand or collapse the trays will be deleted in favor of the system's settings to do similar (alas, at the loss of being able to expand either the effects or damage tray, but I am not sorry to be done with handling even one aspect of collapsing). The setting to not collapse on submission will remain.
