This map provides a comprehensive view of the total crime index in the United States for the year 2022. It is displayed in a multi-scale format, allowing you to explore the data at various geographic levels, including by state, county, ZIP Code, tract, and block group. The geographical boundaries are based on the 2020 Census.
The map pop-up is configured to include the following information for each geography level:
- Total crime index
- Personal and property crime indices
- Sub-categories of personal and property crime indices

To access and use this map, you will need an ArcGIS Online subscription. Here are the steps to get started:
