For example after pressing the Thebe button on https://sqla-tutorials-nb.readthedocs.io, the dropdown disappears but the tooltip remains:

To reproduce

  • Use Firefox
  • Go to a page with a Thebe launch button
  • Click the button
  • Move mouse off of it
  • Tooltip should remain
  • Click tooltip and it goes away

EDIT: removed as we figured out this doesn't happen on Chrome
