Release Notes
- The broadcast/notification process has been enabled on this release. This is a peer-peer notification and the users would be able to receive important notifications
- Past release versions won't be able to relay notification messages from clients with versions higher than 2.0.0.2
- The messages from the latest clients will be rejected on older versions, and eventually, those nodes with older versions could be banned from the network for some time
- The mac OSX release is now an installable (pkg), with a more intuitable interface. After the installation has finished, you will find the
EXOS-Qt
under /Application - The new scripts to create the mac OSX installable pkg with the possibility to sign the code with Apple Certificate have been updated
- The chain checkpoints were updated to block 790,000 for mainnet and to block 60,000 for testnet. This update secure the chain to those blocks
- Some Bitcoin and ppcoin messages were updated to EXOS
- The
testnet genesis
(and vAlert) parameters were updated (nLastPOWBlock = 45000;) and the testnet is nowup and running
- The init script for Debian/Linux/RPI2 created during the linux deployment (build.sh) is now Linux Standard Base (LSB) compliant, and there is no longer the warning message

during the deployment - The left panel / left border button color has changed to blue

Run the downloaded file every time you need to open your wallet. This is a runnable file (run from any place) and it is not an installable package.
mac OSX (10.12 [Sierra] and higher)

Once you have downloaded the Appimage file, you need to enable it to run it (permit to run), either from your GUI or from the console like this:
$ chmod a+x EXOS-Qt-2.0.0.2*.AppImage
$ ./EXOS-Qt-2.0.0.2*.AppImage &

bootstrap.dat file for Mainnet
If for any reason your wallet is not syncing and/or you are having orphan blocks messages in the log file, please follow the instructions below

Usage
- Backup your wallet (slide 7) before any update
- Close your wallet
- Download and extract the file above.
- Place the bootstrap.dat file inside your CivX folder:
Windows: %APPDATA%\CivX
Mac OS: ~/Library/Application Support/CivX/
Unix/Linux: ~/.civx/ - Rename the following directories/files, both located in the same place the file bootstrap.dat is located (item 4 above)
txleveldb --> txleveldb-bak
database --> database-bak
blk0001.dat --> blk0001-bak.dat - Run your wallet and let it sync using bootstrap.dat
- Once sync is done bootstrap.dat file will be renamed to bootstrap.dat.old automatically and can be safely removed.
