It seems that generating iOS certificates is broken on Windows. When someone tries to generate them, the only error message he gets is error while gathering & validating credentials. The issue was originally reported by @matthewjj on Expo Developers Slack.

I wasn't able to reproduce this bug on Windows 10. I installed latest expo-cli (2.1.3), Windows WSL and Ubuntu from Windows Store. After that I was able to generate certificates on PowerShell and Windows CMD. Which version of expo-cli did you use? @matthewjj

Hi, do I need to have Ubuntu running when I run the command expo build:ios?

How can I have unassigned someone?

Well, you don't need to have Ubuntu to successfully run expo build:ios, it's really strange that it's not working for you. We tested running this command on our Windows machine and it works like a charm. But yes, it should also work on Ubuntu.

I guess it's some Github bug, @Aasfga has been removed from expo organization recently, so maybe you just invalidated some cache by posting a new message here.
