In particular because we want eventually to allow "Add to Home Screen" for a better mobile experience.

So, what is the default favicon?

Because sometimes i see the character 中, sometimes this 漢 and eventually a K in a yellow background.

I like the [ k ] one it seems closest to the current flat icon trend, and it probably looks nicer at different scales especially smaller.

The 中 icon is obsolete. It's the oldest favicon I think, it is a 16x16 oldschool gif, it was basically me saying "huh, kanji won't fit in 16x16px".

The 漢 icon is used on the webpage logo. It highlights the problem with the design... I can't use a nice "k" there because then it looks like [ k ] koohii but I'm satisfied with it being a kanji in the webpage content, and it being a [ k ] for ALL the favicons. That would be the workable solution to this issue.

Now if someone has ideas for icons fire away!

Made a slightly more attractive logo with a gradient.

Used realfavicongenerator.net to generate icons for Android, iOS, OS X and even Windows "Metro".

Also the small favicons are generated at 32x32 now.

Closing issue. Although Safari is driving me nuts by refusing to update with the icon pointed by:

Cleared the cache, changed the query string, changed permissions on the files, deleted the old files that remained on the server (even though they were in a different path anyway). No go.

Would appreciate if someone can confirm the new icon is working when adding to Favourites (not Home Screen) on Safari iOS. Well basically confirm that you don't see the old plain yellow icon.

Awesome thanks! There are also icons for "Add to Home Screen" but the app is not ready for that yet.
