Is there a way to send an 'attachment', as one could using the older API? I wanted to be able to post something along the lines of the following, along with the user's message.
{
"properties": {"Winery": "Colchuga winery","Wine Type": "Red Wine","Region": "Southern Chile","Country": "Chile","Price": "$12.95"},
"caption": "Rated 2 out of 5","href": "#","name": "Gamay Beaujolais","description": "Good"
}

I have been tinkering with the Example application that was included in the SDK but have been unable to figure out how to go about including an 'attachment' with the user's message.

Thanks.

I understand that the /PROFILE_ID/feed method supports "message, picture, link, name, description" arguments. Does that imply that support for "attachment" has been discontinued with the Graph API?

If yes, then is there an alternative to "attachment" in the Graph API?

Maybe I am answering my own question here but would the structure of the "attachment", using Graph API be something like the following, instead of what I had earlier:
{
"link": "#",
"name": "Gamay Beaujolais",
"description": "Rated 2 out of 5. Price: $12.95 Wine Type: Red Wine Winery: Colchuga winery Region: Southern Chile Country: Chile Notes: Good"
}

It would be good to get a confirmation.

Also, how would I go about fitting this into the Example application that was included in the SDK.

Thanks.

eldolor - currently POSTing to user/feed in the Graph API doesn't support the addition of arbitrary metadata like stream.publish does (http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/rest/stream.publish), although you can specify the name, caption, description, link, picture, etc. as flattened form parameters.

If you need to post extended properties, you should use the old API call for now.

Hope this helps.
