Would you like to add the configuration script "AX_PTHREAD" to your build specification?

What benefits would we observe vs. the burden of pulling in and maintaining an external autoconf library?
What we have right now works well on the platforms that are currently supported

Will your desire increase for the reuse of "known" configuration scripts in the future?

A lot of autoconf is geared up for systems that are no longer in common use. If we had a large community of users of those systems for libphenom it would be worth the effort to revisit and improve the configuration scripts, but given that that is not currently the case, and that what we have at the moment appears to be sufficient for the major platforms, I don't see a need to change this in the immediate future
