I'm trying to do this with a Git post-merge hook in order to call my beta fastlane after merging develop into a beta branch, but it doesn't seem to work. Am I missing something, or is it just not possible?
#!/bin/bash
exec < /dev/tty
# Get the current branch name
branch_name=$(git branch | grep "*" | sed "s/\* //")
# Get the name of the branch that was just merged
reflog_message=$(git reflog -1)
merged_branch_name=$(echo $reflog_message | cut -d" " -f 4 | sed "s/://")
echo $merged_branch_name
echo $branch_name
# if the branch is beta, run fastlane beta
if [ $branch_name -eq "beta" ] && [ $merged_branch_name -eq "develop" ]; then
echo "Calling fastlane"
fastlane beta
fi
exit 0
