App packaging is returning an error #10251

It seems like this issue might be related to code signing 🚫 Have you seen our new Code Signing Troubleshooting Guide? It will help you resolve the most common code signing issues 👍 |
Cert and Sigh don't seem to be working for me. |
That's the error message 👍 |
Do I pass it like this?
|
My (temporary?) workaround to this was to force build with Xcode 8
In this project I have Provisioning Profile set to |
Same problem here. Was working perfectly with XCode 8. Now with XCode 9 got this error every time. |
The error message is not logic since automatic signing is already enabled. But I managed to solve it anyways by giving the argument like so
|
@reshadf Thank, I'll try that. Why is this parameter needed now? |
Not sure, but it works. I think it's some bug and this command just forces it to see it as automatic? |
@reshadf worked for me 👍 |
The "-allowProvisioningUpdates" option worked for me aswell. |
When we try to add in the "-allowProvisioningUpdates" flag, we get a compile error: "Could not find option ‘export_xcargs’"
Can anyone see what we might be doing wrong or why we aren't compiling? |
@rmyers0819 Maybe you're using an old version of Fastlane who doesn't support that flag. |
@rmyers0819 you probably forgot a comma. |
So is adding the export_xcargs option the official solution here? I'm using fastlane 2.61 and getting this error without allowProvisioningUpdates. What I'm not sure is if this flag is giving Xcode the liberty to manage the provisioning profile, rather than using the profile I've downloaded with sigh. I'm also not honestly sure that I care. |
This is still happening in Xcode Version 9.0 (9A235). The change provided by @reshadf works but I would love to find out why this change was needed in the first place.

Any news regarding this issue? It seems to still be happening. |
Hey @ljesus - any chance you can share your command line output so we can see the full context? If you could run the command with |
