Description of the desired feature:

Similar to the recently added DataVerse integration, it might be interesing to add Invenio RDM support. Invenio also allows on-premise hosted data repositories and will therefore give users access to hundreds of data repositories through a rather simple integration. Additionally, Zenodo is migrating to Invenio RDM, so the Zenodo support might be accordingly refactored once that migration is finished.

Are you willing to help implement and maintain this feature?

Yes, with no specific timeline for the implementation.

With Zenodo having migrated to InvenioRDM support, this one could be tackled quite easily.

@dokempf what do you have in mind for this one? Do you know of other repositories running it?

InvenioRDM is a data repository solution that can be hosted on-premise. Zenodo will just be the biggest and most famous instance of it. There is a list of instances on the website. Now that the APIs are the same anyway, I guess that this is a quite low hanging fruit to support additional data repositories. I am also willing to put the work in.
