I love the term fc00 very dearly, but I don't feel like it's good name for a project... zero-zero is just hard to pronounce :/ How do other people feel about the name?

  • TRTL (turn right turn left) which rhymes with turtle, and hopefully brings up a street route planning picture in your head.
  • Jeitinho -- "The word "jeitinho" comes from the expression dar um jeito, literally "to find a way". It implies the use of resources at hand, as well as personal connections, and creativity." -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeitinho

Trying not to offer only negative input...

  • From an SEO perspective, the Turtle namespace is a little crowded
  • same with SQRT.
  • jeitinho (by the definition you provide) sounds like a good fit, but it's remarkably unmemorable (for english speakers, the spelling is difficult)

Unfortunately searching FCP brings me to Final Cut Pro, and FC brings up nothing but Football Clubs.

I'd lean towards FC Project. It's easy enough to pronounce, already has significant meaning for us, and conflicts much less than the alternatives.
