hey why do we need to upgrade bytewax in this PR scope? |
@sudohainguyen - As part of the last community meeting discussed exploring the compatibility to support the latest version of python 3.11. If we don't upgrade the bytewax version then not be able to build the application using 3.11 due to version incompatibility. I have upgraded to the latest version of Bytewax. This is my first PR to feast project so please let me know if I am doing something not desired or missing any other impacted areas. After this upgrade -> ran the unit test cases and integration tests are expected to run with this PR. Tested the UI application. my unit tests and UI tests seem to be working fine. |

as I remember, upgrading bytewax to 0.18 would break the current implementation due to its api changes our testing setup doesn't cover very well for bytewax though |

@sudohainguyen any links/docs about the API break? if our tests are not covering that, I would rather use this as an opportunity to increase coverage. We need to move python support forward to 3.11 as discussed in the last community call. |
