Back when the update was still relevant, it didn't look like the waive test results button actually does anything. Does it? I clicked it a few times in desperation, but I don't think anything happened because it remained stuck in gating and didn't make it into Rawhide.

I'm looking into this, though it's a bit tricky because of a datagrepper issue. As best as I can tell, no waiver was submitted to waiverdb for that update between 2021-12-09 and 2021-12-11. However, I just tested clicking the 'waive results' button on the update now, and it worked; a waiver was created and Bodhi now reports the gating status as passed. I can't tell what happened when you tried to waive the result originally, but it doesn't seem to be broken now.
