canvass

Canvass is an initiative to collect statistics about Linux usage. It will succeed Smolts and Census, past projects with similar goals.

Hacking

canvass is written in Python. To execute canvass, you will need to install needed pip dependencies:

• Python 2
• pip dependencies: pip install -r requirements.txt
• PostgreSQL or MySQL
• virtualenv (optional but recommended)
