A clear and concise description of what the bug is. NO AUDIO for REALTEC R196472 as on board chip installed on Dell Vostro420

Steps to Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Attempt to play any media with sound, including DVD, CD, MP3 etc.

Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen. Sound should be heard. Volume settings set to medium (tried all) and NO MUTE on keyboard or in programme. I have run the Audio Device Confirgure tool - And the TEST SPEAKERS, still without sound

Have you checked Driver Manager?

Yes – No better and the system still fails.
