Is there a way of currently use it with angular6? I know this isn't an issue and more of a feature request, but it could be really useful for Angular2 Plus apps especially since there is no good free package to use YouTube iframe api currently available for it.

This library is lower level than any particular web framework. You can use it with Angular, but as for how to do that, you'll have to figure it out on your own.
