Hi,

I saw the license was changed from MIT to GPL-3 here, ba1fc4c. What was the reason?

Have you considered switching back to MIT? For Statuspage.io API? :) I'd like to use it but can't if it's under GPL-3. If not I still thank you for your hard work making these API clients!

Hi @ripern, I mainly switched to GPLv3 because I believe in open source and I don't want companies to make money with my work while being closed source.

Currently I don't have any plans to switch back to MIT.

May I ask why you can use only projects licensed under the MIT license?

Well, it might not have to be MIT (in my case) only, but if it is GPLv3, then the company (that I'm working for) needs to distribute their source as GPLv3 also, which they are not willing to (as it's closed source). But that is exactly the reason you switched license, so I understand your point of view.
