Under some 64bit systems like Fedora, the LXC templates are in different location, namely under

  • /usr/lib64/lxc/templates
  • /usr/local/lib/lxc/templates

If you agree to add these, I would submit a pull-request.

Awesome! Would be even better if you can attach the code to this issue using hub, if not, just shoot a separate PR ;-)
