Baseband Dumps

SCAT can also analyze baseband dumps of Qualcomm and Samsung devices.

Qualcomm

SCAT can parse *.qmdl and *.dlf files.

Some Xiaomi devices provide a method to generate *.qmdl files without rooting, although not available on newer devices or devices updated with ~2022 firmware. On older Qualcomm-based Xiaomi devices, CIT (Repeatedly tap Kernel version under About device) -> Additional tools (under hamburger menu) -> MODEM test tools -> Open/Close Offline Log will generate *.qmdl files on the device which SCAT can parse.

Note: *.qmdl2 file support is not always guaranteed, and *.qdss file is not supported.

Samsung

*.sdm files could be obtained through SilentLogger system application, which is accessible through *#9900# on the dialer. Note that the functionality requires OTP authentication.

HiSilicon

*.lpd files could be obtained through hidden menu. Enter the hidden menu through *#*#2846579#*#*, go to Background Setting -> Log setting and enable the CP Log. Also you can execute /system/bin/modemlogcat_lte -l if your device is rooted.

Note that HiSilicon support is far from complete, and please test the code and report the result.
