[BCG] Board for Certification of Genealogists: Since 1964, a non-profit Board that has articulated American standards for genealogical practice and (internationally) conducts rigorous testing of those who seek the credentials Certified Genealogist and Certified Genealogical Lecturer. The most-recent edition of its standards manual is Genealogical Standards (2014).
