You can see at the bottom of the screen, there are some graphical glitches, the missile also has a graphical glitch

Is there any chance you could get me a state at the same place for MAME 0.265 (official current version from https://www.mamedev.org )?

I've worked on this for what seems like weeks, and can't figure it out.
When it gets to the wonkey screen (c169 roz chip), the cpu writes a bad value to the c169, which changes the offset - and this offset points to what you're seeing in the above picture. So: what you're seeing is what the cpu wants you to see, but, it doesn't make sense for that scene.
I'm out of options here...
