@CruiseMan Chill. These guys care more about their customers than most startups. Do you have any idea what their days are like? @MelvinTo @jasonlyc

Their days like writing js, while whole worlds uses typescript. Don’t protect them, I know what is startup, that when you care about each and single customers, and not ignoring PR from people who uses your product, already sold my firewalls, thanks no need it this attitude that comes with this peace of hardware. Look at pfsense repo https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense and their level of dedication.

Sorry you feel that way @CruiseMan and sorry to hear you no longer have Firewalla hardware. I would have been happy to buy it from you.

No company can listen to every customer and implement every request. You have to prioritize to those things that satisfy 5 sigma or so of the consumer base. Many requirements conflict so satisfying every need just isn't possible.

I use pfsense a lot when teaching my university cybersecurity classes. These products overlap but target different audiences. Firewalla is massively easier to use than pfsense.

Comparing an open source software project with a hardware / software startup company doesn't make sense.

Cheers - best of luck to you.
