This is the Url Shortner written for FIU 

Requirements:
mysql
php

Things to do:

Create a mysql database and use the attached schema (tinyurl.sql)

Make sure your server is configured correctly for CakePHP. (http://cakephp.org/)

Open up the file in /app/config/database.php and input the proper database variables

Open up the file /app/config/core.php and fill in the additional proper variables at the bottom of the file.
