System settings observer not working on Motorola device in setup screen

It's is the first time this happens upgrading the stable version.

I know I could escape that situation by deleting and re-installing FB, and though I'd loose my prefs then, I'd be willing to do so for a personal quick fix without pestering you guys any further. I'm aware, though, this would take you the opportunity to test whether the installation routine works smoothly on its own or not and I want to leave you the choice cause I won't be able to reset to this same situation after deleting/re-installing.

Thanks for your bug report!

I still don't know what's up with your system ROM and system settings interoperability. I have added a commit above which modifies the observer a bit, maybe it is helping. I don't have a device where this occurs on so I cannot test it sadly.

As I gather from your issue this does not occur for fresh installs, so even if I include it in today's 0.3.15-beta02 release you won't be able to test its effect?

I've already deleted and re-installed the beta version in order to have access to the settings, so probably no chance with another beta. I'd then need a private 0.3.15 stable, right?

After the 0.3.15-beta02 release I will only do a 0.3.15-rc01 release and then 0.3.15 stable already, so I think we can wait these few days out, so no need for a "private" 0.3.15 stable.

I can't remember whether I mentioned the following already in other topics, but maybe it'd give you a hint: In the deleted + reinstalled 0.3.15 beta01 (76) there's still the red panel "FlorisBoard" [sic! not beta] ist in deinem System nicht aktiviert" though everything is accessible and seems working as announced. This might just be due to a string/text flaw but it might also stem from my two parallel FB installations (beta + stable). Just guessing.
