It always gives an error every time there is a dependency update that ends up using a newer version than the fixed dependencies of flutter_test.

For example the package petitparser: ^5.2.0 is using meta: ^1.9.0, and until flutter_test is updated it's impossible to use flutter_test and petitparser together.

I don't know why you do that, or even if this should be an approach for an SDK.

I checked this and see that it was upgraded to meta: 1.9.0 on the latest beta/master channel and the dependencies are resolved successfully after adding petitparser.
