I'm open to adding translations for different languages and I have set up a process to make this work.

If you want to contribute a change to translation for an existing language, head to Weblate and submit your translation change. That's it.

These languages are currently at least partially supported (they may not be available in the app yet though):

New languages

The app is still being developed, so there will be changes that will break the translations and users may see English strings for certain pieces of UI. For this reason, the ideal contributor is a long-term contributor who is willing to re-sync translations every now and then, instead of a one-off contribution.

If you want to contribute a new language completely, these are the steps to do it:

  1. Add a new language in Weblate
  2. Translate all the strings in all the components
  3. Open an issue in this repository mentioning the language you have contributed
  4. One of the maintainers will enable the language in the app
