Auto-hint creates overlapping hints for this C-cadilla glyph

When I open Hints -> Auto-Hint from the menu bar with the following glyph open or selected, I get overlapping H-stem hints: base -15 size 21, and base -2 size 8. This creates an error when I try to generate a font file. Shouldn't the top of the cedilla be a V-stem (base 64 size 24, replacing the one at base 84 size 24) instead?
